Alright, not exactly, but a post is in order before I head to work. I found a song by Dave Matthews yesterday, then found a Willie Nelson cover of it on Youtube. The result after a couple listens was a decent piece of imagery that led to an all day writing session after mowing my lawn.
So now, adding to my works I have:
"Ain't Gonna Dig No More" - 3,535 words - Submitted to Potters Field.
Not scary, but I like it. I guess the best way to put it would be "Supernatural literature".
And below...find the video that got me writing on it in the first place.

I've been tinkering with a story idea based on Nick Cave's "Halleleujah." And btw, I love this song (Willie's version moreso, of course)...
Good title. Good luck. :)
Ah, yard work. Is there anything more mentally cleansing?
I sure hope old Willie sticks around for a while.
Willie is a modern bard. As is DMB, I guess. Still, I'll always go with the Willie version of this...something about his "scratched voice" quality makes it seem more like a gravedigger's singing to me.
Barry: love that song, and that version. I'd be interested to see what you came up with off of it.
Cate: Thank you! My measly one submission still isn't comparing to your list this month, but at least you're enjoying your vacation!
Natalie: I...hate...yard work. It isn't the mowing, or the trimming. It's more that my neighbors seem to be growing a nursery of milk weeds that grow waist high, so mowing by the fence line first requires me pulling small milk weeds for thirty minutes before I can even prime the mower.
Jeremy: He's not gonna go anywhere...he's Willie-Freakin'-Nelson!
